/span>Tomorrow’s Office: a research report on the future of work
/span>Commissioned by Panels by Knauf, BETTERNESS conducted a research project into how office spaces must evolve to stay relevant in a rapidly changing world. Through in-depth interviews with corporate leaders, workplace strategists, architects, and designers, we identified five future typologies that together outline the next generation of work environments.
The findings were published in a white paper, amplified through a Dezeen feature, and discussed in roundtables in Amsterdam and London. The report provides developers, landlords, occupiers and designers with a framework to rethink offices as adaptable, human-centred and resilient environments.

Transsion
/span>Developing a prototype building for liveable, high-density urban environments
/span>Can a building reshape urban design? Transsion, a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, envisioned its future Shenzhen HQ as a prototype for liveable high-density cities. BETTERNESS explored this vision by reimagining buildings as adaptable green platforms that enable diverse activities—commerce, work, culture, and leisure.
Infused with technology, these spaces become dynamic stages for urban expression. Our proposal, presented to Shenzhen’s mayor, underscored Transsion’s ambition to pioneer sustainable cityscapes.

/span>Creating a documentary video series exploring future living
/span>At the helm of Frame, Robert Thiemann collaborated with Huawei’s Milan Aesthetic Research Center to produce Tomorrow Living, a four-part documentary series. Featuring insights from 30 experts across design, architecture, art, and science, the series explores how technology can make residences more responsive to human needs while reducing environmental impact.
It also illustrates intelligent technology as a key enabler of innovative, mixed-reality living scenarios.
